Context

In order to improve the management of rainwater in the Grand Camp district in Abymes, Guadeloupe, the Cap Excellence agglomeration community has built a hydraulic canal.

Presentation of the works

The construction of the hydraulic structures in reinforced concrete required a temporary support to hold back the earth and water during the works.

Our teams installed two sheet pile enclosures by vibro-driving, for a length of about 150m, as well as a system of waling with struts positioned at the head of the retaining walls.

The continuity of traffic on the roads near the structures required particular attention to the phasing and the means used to guarantee the safety of the worksite and of users.
